Trinity Missionary Baptist Church has been a part of the Sumter community for more than 100 years. In keeping with our mission we continue to reach out to serve our community. At Trinity there are many opportunities for strengthening your spiritual and physical body, prayer life, biblical knowledge, and family life, and opportunities to fellowship with others who share your Christian values.

- Sunday services begin at 10:00 am each Sunday and church Sunday school begins at 9:00 am
- Mid-week bible study: Wednesday midday and Wednesday night at 7:00 pm
- Prayer services on Wednesday nights, 6:30-:700 pm, prior to bible study
- Monthly “Prayer and Praise Service” on the second Sunday of each month at 4:00 pm
- Vacation Bible School during the month of June
- Sunday morning Discipleship classes for new members

- Wednesday night bible study with one night of the month used for special events that address the needs of the whole child and one night of fun and games
- Nursery open during Sunday services for babies and toddlers up to 5 years of age
- Youth Sunday on the third Sunday of each month: Young people take an active part in the service
- Children’s Church held on the second and fourth Sundays for children ages 5-10
- Girl Scouts troops (Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, Cadets) meet twice a month
- Praise Dance teams for different age groups and a Youth Choir
- Special trips sponsored at specific times during the year for youth who are active in church
- Academic Awards/Recognitions held each academic quarter for young people who excel in school
- God’s Girls Rock Cotillion sponsored by the Women’s ministry in April
- After school program, Helping Youth Pursue Excellence (HYPE) is active during the academic year

- Soulfully Fit exercise classes twice a week
- Church sports teams are organized each year
- Softball field and walking track on the church site
- Health Awareness workshops held quarterly

- Revival services during the last week of May
- Special Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve services
- “Women’s Week” activities in April ending with a special Sunday service
- 100 Men in Black program in May
- Pastor’s Anniversary celebration held in March
- Christian Singles one day revival & workshop
- African American History month recognition
- Scholarship Banquet to raise funds to help provide scholarships for our deserving graduates
- Senior Missionary Mother’s Day Luncheon
- Caring and Sharing outreach provides resources to families in need
- Church Anniversary is celebrated during the month of October which includes: Family and Friends day, a choir concert, and a special Sunday service.
- A News letter is published quarterly to highlight activities, church events and youth accomplishments

- The building is a 47,000 square feet multi-purpose facility located at 155 Wall Street on a 21 acre site near the 378 Highway By Pass in the city of Sumter
- The sanctuary has a seating capacity of 700 with overflow areas extending it to 1100
- There are eighteen classrooms upstairs along with a chapel for smaller services and events
- Two computer rooms and an exercise room are on the second floor
- A kitchen and fellowship hall are on the first floor
- A large parking lot with adequate parking for our worshippers
- Over 1,000 members divided into Wards assigned to specific Deacons in order to better serve our church family

- Expansion of the present fellowship hall
- Construction of a “Wellness and Fitness Center”
- Construction of a sanctuary
- Establish a daycare center and Christian bookstore
